How Airlist came to be

It all started with three questions.

  2. Can we be the best in the world at doing this?
  3. How can we make an impact on a global scale?

When we decided to launch Airlist, our core team had been building real estate software for more than ten years at Masterkey. You reach a point where you start to question what you’re doing and why you’re doing it and by 2013 we had our answer. We knew we're really good at building real estate software, probably one of the best in the world, but what do you do with this knowledge and skill. More importantly, why do you do it?

We debated, we refined, we tweaked, but in the end we compacted our vision into one sentence.

That’s what we want and that’s why we’re here.

With the vision clear we embarked on building a next generation software, asking tough questions in the process. Do we have the right platform to allow us to do this? Do we have the right people? Do we portray the right marketing and brand? Do we have the right corporate structure and right investors to make this happen? So many questions and answers that created hard challenges to overcome.

That's how we’ve built Airlist. With all of this in mind.

Daniel Hart
Daniel is the founder of Airlist. He drives the company's vision, strategy and growth and finds unique ways to advance and improve the real estate industry. Daniel has been CEO of Masterkey since 2010 and has been in the real estate industry for more than 11 years.
Atif Bashir
Atif heads up software development at Airlist. He oversees the technical implementation of the software and is dedicated to building a team of engineers to keep Airlist at the forefront of the industry. Atif co-founded Masterkey 11 years ago and still heads development there.
Gokhan Polat
Gokhan is the growth manager at Airlist. He is responsible for the design, development and confirmation through experiments improving Airlist leading to growth of the user-base internationally.
